things are getting Harris around here...



been looking at John Harris again... i always feel small looking at his work.

I am trying to get the feel of the looseness and scale indication here in this piece... still can not get it. but I am learning.

another sleepless night.

Damn! Looks big to me. However if you aren't happy with the results I'd say that what makes it big is familiar things the viewer can relate to like the landing gear, windows, people, landmarks, etc... In this piece for instance you can have one of the small fighter aircraft in the foreground closer and perhaps you can see the pilot inside, then use that to cross reference with other fighter aircraft flying behind the already doomed flagship. Anyhow... This thing looks way cool as is.
